Our Farms

Did you know we have been farming in this beautiful part of the world for more than 100 years?

It all started back in 1906, when our Ipsen family forefathers bought Mayfield Park Farms in Manjimup, which we still own today.

Over the years they began to forge a reputation as one of the town’s most successful farmers, renowned for producing the best broccoli and top-quality lamb.

Twin Lakes

Surrounded by towering karri forest, Twin Lakes is home to the Ipsen family’s broccoli and sheep farm. Twin Lakes, which was named after the two lakes situated on the farmland, was purchased in 1977. Since then, it has seen three generations of the Ipsen family grow, run and own the 900-acre property. Twin Lakes harvest two varieties of broccoli – Annapurna and Aurora – from November to May every year. The broccoli is handpicked by a team of dedicated workers, who deliver the crisp green heads to the property’s packing shed and prepare it for delivery to the farm’s many clients.

Kammann

A little down the way you’ll find Kammann, a 700-acre property used by the Ipsen family to grow Eureka seedless lemons. 6,500 lemon and 500 lime trees have been planted at Kammann, with the first citrus harvest expected in 2020.

Packing Shed Facility

The Twin Lakes pack house is located on the Twin Lakes farm itself with long conveyors, ice and wrapping facilities.

All broccoli is packed into polystyrene boxes with lids and ice, manually handled hygienically and to the highest standards to ensure the highest quality product is maintained and transported off the property.

We can cater for crates being 36 litres or 44 litres, and also do export. Please speak to Renae for further information and to obtain a competitive quote.
